COVID-19 Business Continuity & Services Update

Thank you for allowing us to serve your critical communication needs during this unprecedented time. In March, 2020 I emailed what we were doing as COVID-19 was increasing. Our team continues to update you with what 5x5 Telecom is doing to help keep us all safe, healthy and assure your services continue uninterrupted while we all operate under new conditions.

Keeping employees safe
The well-being of our team and yours is our first priority. To that end, we have taken measures including:

  • Following prevailing workplace guidance from local and national authorities

  • Critical office employees have relocated within the office to provide social distance

  • Masks have been made available

  • Performing service updates and installations ideally after-hours when offices are empty

  • We are following additional guidance from the CDC

Keeping our Service Level promise to you
Network operations continue uninterrupted with business continuity plans activated. We have taken unique steps to ensure your business connectivity is provided at the level you have come to expect:

  • 5x5 Telecom operates under Presidential Policy Directive 21 for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resiliency

  • Our services, repairs, installations and upgrades are considered “essential services that underpin American society.” This designation is affirmed in the directives of the President, as well as California Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor’s orders

  • Our Network Operations are 24x7x365

  • The 5x5 Telecom Network Operations Center has remote redundancy to multiple locations

  • Our Senior Management is geographically separated and maintains this separation to help minimize COVID-19 activity in one geography impacting multiple members of Senior Management simultaneously
